Mohamed BRAHAM (ORCID: 0000-0003-3913-5175; Researcher ID: A-1811-2017) holds a PhD in Biological Sciences and Health from the University of Aix-Marseille 3 (France) in 2001. He is currently Professor –Researcher at the Regional Research Centre on Horticulture and Organic Agriculture at Chott–Mariem, (CRRHAB), University of Sousse. He is a Researcher at the Laboratory “Genetic Resources of the olive tree. Characterization, valorization and phytosanitary protection” which belongs to the Tunisian Olive Institute. He develops, and tests integrated systems to manage main insects. Chemical, biological and cultural approaches to pest suppression are evaluated in collaboration with growers, agriculture administration, researchers and stakeholders. His research and extension topics focus on the integrated pest management of pests attacking the major crops growing in the center region of Tunisia with emphasis on stone fruits (almond, peach, apricot and plum), pomegranate and Citrus. He was an evaluator of research project Arimnet Project in 2015, evaluator and member of Scientific panel expert for PRIMA projects in 2018 (June-November 2018) and he is member of the Specialized Scientific Committee Experts: “Assessment of health risks related to food and water”; at the ANCSEP (National Agency for sanitary and environmental control of products) of the Tunisian Ministry of public health (January 2019- ). He published more than 50 national and international papers relating to animal ecology and plant protection. He is a reviewer of several international and national scientific journals. Since April 2019 he is a member of Project Management Office of the University of Sousse.
